Institute of applied research and development at the service of professionals in the poultry, rabbit, foie gras and fish farming sectors, ITAVI's mission is to provide breeders and more generally all the sectors with references, scientific, technical and economic elements and know-how to improve the sustainability of production.
Created in 1968, this association under the law of 1901 has an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and the CAS DAR (Compte d'Affectation Spéciale pour le Développement).
A team of 30 engineers and technicians located in Paris and in the provinces, who rely on :
- tools in partnership: Nouzilly Poultry Research Unit (INRA), Experimental Poultry Farming Station (ANSES), Palmipôle d'Artiguères (INRA),
- pilot farms and breeders' networks.
