Since 1994, the CRIEPPAM has developed an activity of experimentation and support for producers of perfume plants (lavandin, lavender and clary sage) and dried aromatic plants in the South East of France.

All the experiments are carried out in close partnership with iteipmai, the CNPMAI and the technicians of sectors (Chambers of Agriculture and OP). Research and experimentation on machinery and plant processing are specific activities of CRIEPPAM for the PPAM sector, which are now part of the network led by iteipmai.
