For the past 15 years, CRIEPPAM (the regional inter-professional experimentation centre for perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants) has been developing its experimental activities and support for perfume plant producers (lavandin, lavender and clary sage) and dried aromatic plants in south-east France.
All the experiments are conducted in close partnership with ITEIPMAI, CNPMAI and technicians in these sectors (Chambers of Agriculture and producer organisations). Research and experimentation on machinery and the processing of plants are specific activities for CRIEPPAM (now integrated into the network coordinated by ITEIPMAI) on behalf of the perfume, aromatic and medicinal plant sector.
