One of the missions of Acta is to transfer and disseminate knowledge. To achieve this, Acta offers a wide range of trainings and reference works on its main areas of expertise (integrated crop protection, weed flora, phytopharmaceutical regulation, biocontrol, agricultural data science, etc.). Based on its expertise, Acta also supports the agricultural technical institutes in the coordination of European projects.
Training
Training is the most efficient tool for transferring knowledge and best practices. Every day, Acta disseminates the expertise acquired through research, studies, and experimentation. Whether in face-to-face or distance learning, the goal is to develop and offer practical and operational modules, including a field component when possible.
Acta can also provide technical and methodological support to organizations wishing to organize local training actions.
Editions
For over 60 years, Acta Editions has offered a wide range of more than 200 references to serve sustainable and efficient agriculture through its own editions, a selection of reference works from partner publishers, and the works of the Agricultural Technical Institutes.
Searching for new crop protection techniques, taking animal welfare into account in breeding conditions, beekeeping, etc., Acta Editions is keen to provide tools on current topics to help you meet many challenges.
Management of Horizon Europe projects
The Acta’s Europe directory offers to support Agricultural Technical Institutes wishing to coordinate European projects.
This tailored support will result in competitive projects that meets the requirements of the European Commission in order to maximize the coordinator’s, team’s, and partners’ chances of success. Acta can also manage the operational management of funded projects.
