Seed is our culture

The FNAMS (National Federation of Seed Multiplier Farmers) runs a technical action program devoted to seed production, with the objective of economic and environmental performance.

From the implantation of the seed carrier until its harvest, the FNAMS studies and develops on its experimental stations the best technico-economic routes allowing to obtain a seed of quality and to improve the profitability of the productions all. taking into account the regulatory constraints. The work focuses on four groups of species: forage seeds, vegetable seeds, cereal and protein seeds and industrial beet seeds.

The orientation of the action programs is defined within the framework of the GNIS sections, by representatives of multiplying farmers and seed establishments, with the participation of ARVALIS - Institut du végétal.

The FNAMS technical team is composed of 18 engineers and 11 technicians, spread over 7 experimental sites in the main production basins. FNAMS benefits from BPE approval.
