The Conservatoire National des Plantes à Parfum, Médicinales, Aromatiques et Industrielles (CNPMAI) is a tool created by producers and placed at the service of the players in the Plantes à Parfum, Aromatiques et Médicinales (PPAM) network.

This organization, the only one of its kind in France, has been able to combine agronomy, botany and pedagogy to meet the needs of the following activities:

  • Conserve a wide genetic diversity of PPAM (France, Europe),
  • To develop and make available to users an adapted, new, improved or simply clearly identified plant material,
  • Participate in the protection of our natural heritage (especially endangered species),
  • Raise awareness among all audiences about the richness of the Simples and the protection of biodiversity.
